Salji di bumi UAE

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

As usual, the first thing i would do before starts working on sunday morning (besides du'a) is checking emails and news all around the world.

For local story, i always browse three webnews, namely gulfnews.com,khaleejtimes.com and thenational.ae. My eyes were focusing on today's headlines . Well, i would say that people visiting Ras Al-Khaimah (RAK) on last friday would be a lucky man though..

Guess what, Snow fell heavily on the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah...!!
(story HERE, HERE, and HERE)

Not in my mind before that there would be snow falling in a desert area (desert covers more than 70% of UAE land). That reminds me on one email i received several years ago on the same matter ( they found snow in saudi if i am not mistaken). Following my heart, i try to google for it, and what do you know, there's also a 'snow fiesta' in saudi this year after all.(blog story HERE)

If this phenomena will be common for the incoming years, i guess the arabs wouldn't have to spend more to get the feeling of 'touching' the snow with their bare hands.
