I was reading arabianbusiness webnews this morning to see if there are any good news about the current global economic situation. As far as i am concern, the global economics recession really bites the life of all expatriates in UAE. Every single body who take the risk of working here are in 'standby mode' i would say, and nobody dares to say that their job is really secure right now. i heard some news from the street that they predict the number of retrenhment in UAE will reach as high as 500,000 people by the end of this year! Wow, no wonder i received a joke in email that in Dubai, it will soon have a new tower which will be higher that the Burj Dubai. Its name 'The People Tower" !!
I keep browsing the website and found one interesting news. Its says:
"Egyptian press slams Hezbollah leader as a 'war criminal' - (full news here)
Hezbollah a war criminal? What the hell are those guys in Egypt were talking about? Can't they diffrentiate between the real war criminal and the unsung war heroes?
Blame everyone!
I tried to understand on the reason why they were called the war criminal. There's only one, which due to the fact that they helped HAMAS in the GAZA strip area. I stopped reading for a while and raise several question, trying to think on the relevancy of the statement.
- Is helping someone to survive after destructive enemy's attack is considered as a war criminal?
- Is giving aids to someone who really desperate for world attention is considered as a war criminal?
- Is protecting Muslim's brothers and sisters in Palestin from vicious Israeli soldier is considered a war criminal?
If they were to stick to the fact that helping HAMAS is a war criminal, then they should blame the world as well for doing the same thing to help HAMAS rebuilt Palestin. People who gave aids to Palestinian people from around the world should also be categorized as 'war criminal'. Individuals that gave their pocket money to help HAMAS and Palestinian should be label 'war criminal' as well. In fact, cities who organised rallies to raised concerned on Israeli' s vicious attack to GAZA town should also be included in their statement. Why only the hezbollah been blamed, but not the rest?
Who's the Sheikh Monkey?
In their press statement, they also called Hezbollah Leader, Syeikh Hassan Nasrullah "Sheikh Monkey". Its a funny thing that this words come out from a country that posses long history of their so called 'civilize' nation. On this issue, I still remember on the attacks from Israeli soldier last Awal muharram this year, when the world only managed to stood still and only condemned on the action. After the attack, lots of aids coming from around the world to give all sorts of help to the Palestinian living in GAZA city. By looking at geographical aspect, the fastest way to reach those people was to go through Rafah- Gaza boder, so they got to passed through the officers at RAFAH border in order to get to GAZA city.
What happened was, lots of people coming from around the globe have been blocked to enter GAZA. I was not suprised if the Isreali officer blocked the trips, but sadly the blockage happened at Rafah border, where Egyptian officer controlled the border. The best part is, exactly how we would know that those aids i.e money collection, food, water, clothes that were supposed to be handed to them, have actualy reached out to the needed Palestinian that survive in the attacks?
Sadly but true, but this is the facts that is happening there, where irresponsible person who was supposed to help the victim, betrayed the 'amanah' that has been put on them.
I believe that those who are stopping the aids should be called monkey, not the one who are struggling to help the brothers and sisters in GAZA (read : Hezbollah).
Allah blessing vs human blessing
Allah taala has said in surah Al-baqarah, verse 120:
Seek blessing from Allah, and we will not be dissapointed.
Seek blessing from Allah, and we will be peaceful.
Dissapointment is the result of those who seeks human blessing.
Sooner of later, truth will be prevailed.
Those who are hypocrites, their likeniness is temporary.
Wallahu A'lam.

And the Jews will not be pleased with thee, nor will the Christians, till thou follow their creed. Say: Lo! the guidance of Allah is Guidance,And if thou follow their desires after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, then wouldst thou have from Allag no protecting friend nor helper.
Hukama once said:Whoever seeks blessing from human, rarely gets blessing from Allah
Seek blessing from Allah, and we will be peaceful.
